Chloe

High energy performances, desert-dry humour and “a voice like chocolate melting over a bonfire”. This charismatic entertainer thrills audiences at a truly huge range of events – from castles to conferences, from millionaires’ dinner parties to theatres seating hundreds. She has performed at festivals including the Cheltenham Literary Festival, C S Lewis Festival (Belfast) and has been featured on radio and tv

Inspired by traditional tales from many cultures around the world, Chloë’s unique style of Story Cabaret features romantic myths and fascinating fables plus spooky local legends and classic ghost tales.

Nothing is scripted. No reading from books. This is performance storytelling – the ancient art transformed into verbal jazz for modern adult audiences.

Chloë loves to create new work for special occasions and, in collaboration with modern authors, adapts literary short stories for freeform performance. Sometimes she spins a new yarn on the spot, off the cuff, from audience suggestions!
